A typical message is one Balanced-tier turn with about 30k input tokens (24k served from cache) and 3k output tokens. Charges follow actual token usage, so longer contexts cost more. An idle database sleeps automatically and is not billed while asleep.

Frequently asked questions
What are credits, and how are they spent?
One credit currency, two balances. Development credits cover Agent conversations, image and video generation, and preview runtime. Deployment credits cover the database, storage, and traffic of your published apps. Every charge follows actual usage (tokens, seconds, hours), and the price is shown before an action runs.
How does the Free plan grant credits?
You receive 5,000 development credits on your first session, then 1,000 each day, up to 20,000 a month. Deployment credits are 20,000 a month, you can keep 5 apps published, and published apps show the ExaSpark badge.
How do monthly and annual billing differ?
Monthly plans renew and grant credits every month. Annual plans cost 20% less, grant the full year's credits after payment, and renew yearly.
Do unused credits expire?
Paid monthly credits roll over for one extra cycle; annual credits expire at the end of the subscription year; credit packs stay valid for 12 months. Free credits are granted daily and capped monthly, so they do not accumulate into the next month.
What happens when I run out?
When development credits run out, generation pauses unless you have a card on file, in which case you continue at the overage rate (which is higher than a credit pack). When deployment credits run out, your published apps stay online and throttle instead, recovering as soon as you top up.
How do I cancel or change plans?
Open subscription management from the credits page to turn off auto-renewal. Your plan stays active through the current period, after which you can choose another plan.
Who handles payment details?
Subscriptions and credit packs use Stripe-hosted Checkout. ExaSpark never stores your card details, and credits are added automatically after payment.
Does adding members cost extra?
Viewers are free and unlimited. Collaborators take a builder seat, so upgrade when seats run out. Every member's usage draws from the team's shared credits.
